Lack of Health Insurance Makes Americans Miserable
A recent study called ‘Troubles in America: A Study of Negative Life Events across Time and Sub-Groups’ reports that a number types of misery are on the rise since 1991 when the last misery index was calculated. The University of Chicago’s National Opinion Research Center interviewed 1340 Americans in 2004 and found that 92% report at least one major problem - up from 88% in 1991. (Keep reading →)
